Watering Tips

Watering

The key to good plant watering is relatively simple. What you want is to mater deeply and at the proper interval. If you water too often the water will over saturate the soil and the roots will rot out, causing your plant or tree to die. Plants can handle watering daily in many climates. Trees however, require a different interval that changes from spring to summer to Fall. Usually about every 3 days you can deep water in the summer depending on how hot it is. The trick to good watering is to saturate the area around the drip line. This is where the feeder roots are located. They are about 18 inches below the surface on a typical tree. Start watering them deeply and watch your trees grow faster and fuller than ever before.
